I won tickets to a local event, Day of the Dead Fiesta, that Latino Memphis was hosting at the Cadre building downtown. I decided to take my sister along as my date since I knew it would be an awesome experience to embrace our culture and have a blast while doing it.
The theme for the party was black and white attire. We loved having a reason to get all dressed up and don some Mucho merch!
My sister, Gina, is wearing the Vaquera Bolo Choker Necklace and I am wearing the Atrapasuenos Necklace in Black and carrying the Nuestra Musa Clutch.
The venue was beautifully decorated words really can not describe it.
I'm so grateful (and lucky!) for the opportunity to attend this event as the proceeds go to helping the Latino Memphis Organization. There was so much to look at: music, entertainment, tacos (my favorite) and drinks! They did such a good job! We are already looking forward to going next year!
And yes... They even had face painting stations. So we had too!
