The moon has always fascinated me ever since I was little. I think the night sky, in general, is so amazing and I can get lost staring up at it. My stepmom, Julie, is the person that really got me interested at a young age. I was in awe at how much she knew about all the constellations. To this day I can always find Orion's Belt thanks to her, and I think he is my favorite since he likes to accessorize.
I also have a fond memory of my dad taking my siblings and I out late one night to a field. We laid on the roof of his car and watched a meteor shower. I thought it was so cool, but I was young and we could hear cows mooing nearby so I was a little spooked.
Back to the moon, I thought that this la luna Loteria tee was very fitting for me not only for my fascination with the moon and the sky but also because I am a June baby. Just barely a Cancer the moon is the ruling planet for my sign; a moon child. Maybe that is why I have such a connection with the moon? I also remember my dreams quite often and the moon is very dominant in them. Usually, it is bad dreams where I am anxious and looking up at multiple moons all over and thinking its the end of the world. Not sure what that means...
I love mix of Mexican & Modern Style
Since it has been unseasonably warm, I decided to style this top with high-waisted shorts, my docs, and a tattoo choker to give it a little edge. If you haven't already noticed, I do not have just one certain pinned down style. One day I might want to be totally feminine with lace, floral prints and pointy heels, the next I'm boho in a flowing top or dress and clogs, and then grungy in distressed denim and my docs. Or even a combination of those. There are just too many different ways to express myself through my clothing that I can not choose one way. I love to experiment and I encourage everyone to do the same!
I'm digging the way this sun flare is perfectly lined up with the white specks in the mural in the picture above! Perfect mural for this shirt too right?
