This suede cutout romper is a little more risque than what I'm used to even though I styled it for fall with a layer. Combine this little number in a church setting and whoops! I surely didn't think that one through but the blue railing and labyrinth-esque stairs combo was too good to pass up. So, yes, I did shoot this outfit at the Catholic church near my house. It was on a Saturday afternoon, I really didn't think anyone would be around. There was. It didn't stop me but the guilt set in for a minute while Randall and I shot these. I am covered up but the romper shows more skin than what I am used to showing in public... at a Catholic church. Hopefully, you guys will agree it was worth it!
It's starting to cool down a bit here in Memphis. When I say cool, it's like in the mid-80s during the hottest part of the day. It definitely feels better in the shade. I paired this beautiful rich eggplant colored romper with a denim jacket and booties which are no-brainer staples for fall. The perfect transitional pieces. I also took our crossbody pouch for a spin. I just love the embroidered details! Its colors are ideal for fall but would look great carrying around in all seasons. Church may not be the best setting for this outfit but a fall festival or fair would be a great way to rock this romper.
After we finished shooting we went to go try out the Mexican restaurant, Agavos, that I blogged about in the previous post. It was the perfect productive weekend. Mixing work and play!
